South Carolina’s Urban Forest: Assessing the Benefits and Risks of Community Trees

The South Carolina Urban & Community Forestry Council’s annual conference entitled South Carolina’s Urban Forest: Assessing the Benefits and Risks of Community Trees, will be held on October 29th at the State Museum in Columbia, South Carolina.
Keynote speaker, Dr. Kim Coder, will discuss tree biology and hazardous trees, and other presentations will focus on watershed preservation, tree litigation, insects and disease, and the Columbia beautification project. Columbia Mayor Robert Coble will join us for a special presentation, and the SCUCFC has an important announcement you won’t want to miss.
