Mary Lou Jones receives her Golden Acorn award at the 2009 Trees SC annual conference.

During the annual conference in Columbia, Trees SC presented its 2009 Golden Acorn Awards to individuals and organizations that make outstanding contributions to urban forestry throughout the year, as well as its 2009 Heritage Tree Award to a tree with historical and cultural significance.
